Fibrous dysplasia is a non-neoplastic developmental progression that disturb the craniofacial bones, identified by painless enlargement as a result of bone exchanged by abnormal fibrous tissue. Treating such conditions involves surgical, and implant-prosthetic rehabilitation is often necessary and can result in cosmetic, functional, and psychological impairment that greatly affects the patient’s quality of life.
