1.1. Background: Pancreatic cancer is more common in older patients. The only approach to get rid of these resectable tumours appears to be pancreaticoduodenectomy also knows as whipple's procedure. In 1935, Allen. O Whipple described pancreaticoduodenectomy as a modified technique for the first time. Once thought to have a significant mortality rate, the procedure is currently used with a mortality rate of less than 5%. This is a case study based on
