1. Abstract
The review provides information on the classification, mechanisms of development of infection and multiple organ damage, as well as clinical manifestations of post-COVID syndrome (Post-СoViD Сonditions, Long CoViD, Post-acute CoViD). The issues of immunopathogenesis of the development of Covid-19 and possible causes of the development of post-covid syndrome were highlighted. The impact of the pandemic on the state of the world economy is also considered, in particular, an analysis of the negative consequences of the pandemic for global economic growth is carried out.
