Abstract

Necrotizing Soft Tissue Infections (NSTIs) cause rapid necrosis of soft tissue proximal to infected areas and are associated with a mortality rate of up to 35% depending on the type. However, there are no standardized procedures for determining treatment modality (i.e., debridement vs. amputation)
